Who hasn't said "I've got a headache"? Apart from "hangovers", the aftermath of a drunken night out, migraines and headaches are among the most common ailments worldwide. We often resort to paracetamol or aspirin, sometimes without much success. In this article, we propose a synergy of essential oils to combat migraines and headaches.
Migraines and headaches are often confused and equated, but there are a few differences: Migraines are intense and can last from a few hours to several days, with varying intensity. It affects only one side of the head (etymologically, the word migraine means "half of the skull"), pulsating behind the eye. It may be accompanied by nausea and/or vomiting, intensified pain on exertion, and extreme sensitivity to light, noise and/or odours. A migraine is defined as 5 successive migraine attacks (as described above).
Headaches, or tension headaches, are more or less acute but diffuse pains. They can be caused by a variety of factors: cervical problems, stress, vision problems, poor diet, consumption of stimulants (coffee, tea, etc.), a clogged liver, fatigue, dehydration, menstrual syndrome.
Application:
In the event of the onset of pain, apply the roll-on to the temple area, but also at the base of the neck, massaging into the hollow of the cervicals. Be careful not to apply near the eyes, as peppermint essential oil contains menthol.

The advice given in this article does not apply to children, pregnant or breast-feeding women. They can in no way replace a doctor's diagnosis and are only useful for minor everyday aches and pains.
