Organic dry plant, Helichrysum-Immortelle
Botanical description
The Italian helichrysum is a perennial plant of the Mediterranean rim which grows on sandy grounds; in France, one finds it in the southeast (where it is protected, because rather rare) and especially in Corsica.
This grass of 25 to 50 cm in height carries numerous tapered leaves, of silver-gray color, exhaling a strong smell of curry, and clusters of small yellow flowers (capitules) arranged in corymbe at the top of the plant. The fruits are brown achenes provided with an aigrette.
