Natural product obtained by extraction then recrystallization of the oil of Mentha Arvensis.

100% vegetable (mentha arvensis)

• With a strong minty odor, it is used in formulations for its analgesic and cooling effects
• Menthol crystals are produced naturally by the extraction of mint essential oil
• Use as an ingredient in cosmetic formulations such as: balms, ointments, creams, gels, emulsions, emul-gels, toothpastes, foot sprays, shaving creams, compresses, muscle rubs.

• Recommended dosage 0.1 - 1%, usually up to 5% for localized applications
• In emulsions can be added in the oil phase, but it is indicated to add after heating

Properties

Attention

Although this substance is not toxic, it is recommended to limit the amount of mint crystals used. Start with a small amount, so that you can gradually learn to estimate and know the intensity of the effect. Too many crystals can cause irritation to the eyes and respiratory tract.

The skin can also be irritated.

It is also important to wash your hands thoroughly after touching crystals to prevent irritation. If undiluted crystals come into contact with the eyes or an open wound, it is best to rinse thoroughly with water. This will decrease the concentration, which will reduce the irritation.

Always keep mint crystals in their original packaging. Close the package after each use.
